2012 ISMA Faculty

Lake District Summer Music's International Summer Music Academy faculty draws together artists who are internationally renowned for their performing and teaching. The faculty boasts performing and broadcast experience which rivals any summer music Academy around the world.

You will receive one-to-one ensemble coaching, solo individual lessons, participation in large string ensembles directed by and performing alongside Festival artists, in-house and public masterclasses.

Over the 12 days, you will work with members of our resident artists including the Chilingirian and Škampa quartets, the Gould Piano Trio, plus violinists Kazuki Sawa and Richard Deakin, violists Garfield Jackson and Yuko Inoue, cellists Christoph Richter and Emma Ferrand, and pianists Carole Presland and Renna Kellaway.Staff accompanists will be available.
