Performance Opportunities

LDSM Young Artist Series

Dedicated "LDSM Young Artist" concerts in our International Festival specifically profile ISMA chamber ensembles and soloists. ISMA students are offered these opportunities on the recommendation of faculty tutors and artists. To be considered for promotion in our International Festival publicity please apply before 1 March 2012.

These public performance opportunities regularly lead to professional engagements offered by other promoters and festivals. View two performances from the Archos Quartet on our 2011 International Festival archive site at www.vimeo.com/channels/ldsm2011.

Masterclasses

Public masterclasses with provide experience in reacting immediately to new artistic and technical demands. They can also strengthen your ability to debate musical argument in public. View some past masterclasses free of charge by going to our new LDSM Masterclasses Live site at www.vimeo.com/channels/ldsm. Larger Ensembles

Many students will also have the opportunity to perform in one of our two large ensembles alongside professional Festival artists, in chamber music repertoire learned and performed in 3-4 rehearsals. These works feature in our Menuhin Concert and Candlelight Serenade - two of the most popular programmes in our International Festival.
